Class description :

Von Sven started studying and learning the art of pinstriping in Minneapolis in 2000 and after moving to Stockholm 2005 he started pinstriping professionally. Starting in 2006 he has shared his knowledge by teaching the techniques of Pinstriping in Sweden and is currently teaches as a part of the yearly curriculum.

As a pinstriper his work is well known with in the world of Pinstriping and Kustom Kulture arts with work having been published in major Swedish car magazines, Internationally in the Pinstripe Planet books, and recently appearing on the Swedish TV series, Inkmaster Sverige.

In this two day course he will help a small group of up to 4 students get their start in the art of pinstriping.

The focus of this course will be the early styles of ?modern? pinstriping from the California area during the 1950′s.

On first day of class we will start with learning the history of Pinstriping, as well as getting started painting with a focus on simple basic techniques. The majority of the day is spent with hands on learning.

For the second day of our classes students will move on to more advanced techniques needed for creating elaborate 50′s style pinstripe designs. After plenty more practice the techniques are put to use in painting your very own pinstripe panel.

And that?s it .. well not quite as it should go with out saying that becoming a pinstriper is not that easy. Although Students of this class will be given the tools and basic knowledge of pinstriping, it is only the funnest and most important part left, Practice!
