This was the 2nd year for the Pinstriping event at theLive and Jive rockabilly weekender. This years line up of All Star Swedish pinstripers included

JoEr

Buller

Freddyboy

and of course yours truly Von Sven.

All our Striper’s where on location the entire evening painting kustom Originals for live and jive guests. Some people left shoes and cell phones for the kustom treatment and others bought artwork from the art show table.

A new addition to this years show was the Pinstripe Race track and it was a real crowd pleaser watching the pant fly as thin lines of 1 shot where dragged along the 6.25 meters of track. The rules for the race where loose to say the least, and the results where lost, so there is soon to be a rematch in the near future..

So all in all a good time in the “fume room” this year ! Thanks again to Korena and Henrik ,organizers of the Live and Jive festival for making this possible. We had a great time, till next year !!

Getting ready now for the yearly Wheels boat cruise .. This year I will be set up on the lower deck finishing up a heavy lettering  job on  a ’56 Chevy Gasser. Also the 2012 Wheels Nationals T-Shirts that I designed will be on sale for the first time!

At this years Depalma Mayhem Highlights included 2  Lowriders painted in true LA fashion by tattoo/pinstriper  Daniel Nordin.

As well as the Appearance of Piki Rods / Red Stars latest project.. a built from scratch copy of a 1939 daimler dingo panzer car! crazy !!

This year Piki Rods will be back at the Depalma meet to reveal a new build, you may remember the Piki Rods Rat Rod which made its Debut at Depalmas meet a few years ago. Well, now it’s time for a comeback…

The First project was a ’28 Dodge pick up built on a Chevrolet caprice, it was painted with nose art and to hold up the WWII aviation theme was later fitted with wing bracket styled running boards. The lack of wind shield also added to the effect! See the original Piki Rod in action here EXCLUCIVE VIDEO!!

This years project  is also a budget build although this time building onto a Suzuki Vitara 89. See whats been done with it  at this years Depalma Mayham meet this Saturday 10am – 3pm. Or if you can’t make it to Stockholm for the event, there will of course be a full blog post with pictures coming soon..

I will be painting Nose Art for Piki Rods on the spot, but will be taking breaks from that for drop ins. So if you need some work done it’s no problem.

I will be pinstriping the whole night at Ballroom Rumble this Saturday! with weather providing I will be able to stripe cars before hand out doors as well! See you there!

This Year Live and Jive organizers Hollywood Hank and Missy Lu asked the VSKD artstore to help organize a crazy pinstripes room for this years show.

A selection of Swedens top pinstripe artists where invited . The Seven painters who took part where Buller, Charlie Nilsson Evil T, Freddy Boy, Krazy F, Von Sven, and Yoda.

With all the good energy and great response from the public, we are pleased to announce that there will be a Kustom Pinstripe  Paint Off again at next years Live and Jive 2012 ! We are already looking forward to it.

Tomorrow I got a job tattooing in a Lesbian Prison !

The tattoo flash that I will be working with is Russian prison tattoo designs and they will be hand painted with non toxic colors that stick well but do wash off with no problem, won’t hurt a bit !
